Newtown Rotary Club
Remembrance Tree of Light
Newtown Rotary Club invites you to remember a departed Loved One at this very special time of the year, with a sponsored light on our “Remembrance Tree of Light”. Their name will be displayed on the accompanying “Roll of Remembrance”. The proceeds raised from this venture will be donated to:
The Severn Hospice
British Heart Foundation (Newtown Branch)
The Rotary Clubs of Llanidloes, Machynlleth and Newtown join together to organise this very popular Mid Wales Walk for people to enjoy and also to facilitate the raising of charitable funds in two ways:
1/ as one means of raising funds for the three Rotary Clubs for their own charitable giving to local, national and international good causes.
2/ by the walkers themselves through their own sponsorship raising
The recent walks have seen very significant sums raised for many good causes.
